8Places keeps a list of your interesting places. Go anywhere with your iPhone and press the Find Me! button to obtain GPS coordinates and the corresponding place address. Tag/Save this place location with a description and a photo. 8Places is a “places album”.
The app design philosophy exemplifies the 8Apps series in elegant simplicity, with many new touches: Head Up Display (HUD) upon tagging/updating a place, map shows all places within a region, map pin (i) leads to place details, and more.
- Categorise your places and view them in a table with category section headers
- Take photo or choose from Photo Library to add a photo to the place record
- See all places in the map view and zoom in to a particular place, then tap/touch (i) to launch place details.
